The Montreal Knitting Guild meets the second Tuesday of every month
at the Briarwood Presbyterian Church at 70 Beaconsfield Boulevard in
Beaconsfield, Quebec.
Meetings are from 7:30pm to 10:00pm.
Membership fees from September through June are $30.00.
For those who prefer to attend the occassional meeting, fees on a per-meeting basis are $5.00.
Visitors will be welcomed to their first Montreal Knitting Guild meeting free of charge.
We also offer a Student membership (proof of ID will be required) and a Seniors' membership (65+). Student and Seniors' membership is $25.00.
How to reach the meetings
BY CAR:
From the East (Montreal) - take highway 20 West or highway 40 West towards Toronto. Take St-Charles Blvd. South. Follow St-Charles Blvd. South as far as you can. There will be a T-junction with traffic lights. This is Beaconsfield Blvd. Turn left. The church is on the right side, after the flashing red light. Turn right and then another right into the parking lot.
From the West (Vaudreuil) - take highway 20 East or highway 40 East towards Montreal. Take St-Charles Blvd. South. At the T-junction turn left onto Beaconsfield Blvd. The church is on the right side, after the flashing red light. Turn right and then another right into the parking lot.
BY BUS:
From downtown Montreal, take the 211 bus from Lionel Groulx metro station. Travel time is approx. 1 hour. The 200 bus (from Fairview Shopping Center) also stops at the corner of St-Charles and Beaconsfield Blvd. The church is walking distance from there.
