Did you ever want to knit with lots of colour,but were not sure what would look good, and what wouldn’t? We have the pleasure of welcoming colour guru, Giuseppe Dileo to our May meeting. Mr. Dileo holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts (honours) from Concordia University, and a Masters in Fine Arts from York University. He currently teaches at Dawson and is the coordinator of their painting and drawing program. He will discuss the ins-and-outs of colour and we will all walk away knowing we can use colour like Kaffe Fassett! to share as well! The Great MKG mitten challenge In keeping with our Beat the February Blahs theme, we thought it would be fun to have a Mitten Challenge! By virtue of its name, the challenge involves making a mitten (or a pair of mittens if you are able!!) of your own design, or an existing design. The idea is to give everyone a chance to participate at a level with which they are comfortable and challenging yourself to be creative.
