Guild membership gives you a subscription to Mailles- the monthly MKG newsletter which will be mailed or emailed to you.  Not only is the newsletter packed with great knitting content, but there is also a list of contact people ready and waiting to help you with any questions you might have on almost any knitting technique.  Even if your question is about crochet (like a cast-on or an edging) there is someone who can help you.  Also, don't forget about the free lectures and demonstrations at some of the monthly meetings!

Because it saves you money!  Guild membership also gives you a membership card that can be used for discounts on purchases at selected local area knitting stores and stores with related items.  Guild members also get preferential rates for workshops and field trips.
